Most people never think about it.  Unless something happens.

In today’s “connected society”, it would seem like it would be much easier than in the past to be able to have this information available.  BUT it isn’t!

  • 7 out of 10 people no longer have a home phone (landline), which means they are no longer listed in Directory Assistance,    The use of your driver’s license or some other government-issued identification is the primary way emergency personnel use to contact the family about the medical emergency.  The name and address are used to call directory assistance to get a phone number.  If you are not in the directory or are not home, there is not a simple way to reach you for your family.
  • The cell phone is another option they can use if they can determine if the cell phone is found, working and unlocked.  Over 60% of people password protect their smartphone, which means emergency personnel would be unable to access any contact information.
  • Even if they were able to reach someone in the family, it does not mean that the person reached will have the medical records and information readily available to provide it if it is needed.

 

With your unique MNS ID Decals and ID card, any hospital worldwide can contact one of our 22 emergency call centers, listed on the decals and ID Card so we can quickly send medical information available in your profile and notify your important contacts.  THESE COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE.

When you sign up for the program, you will receive an email with your enrollment information along with instructions on how to set up your membership profile in the secure MNS system.  You should receive this email from Notification Services (MyNotify) within a couple of days of signing up.

Below are sample images of the special ID decals along with a sample of your membership card.  You will receive your ID decals, by mail, within 7-10 days following your enrollment.  Your Wallet ID Membership card will be printable from your membership web portal.

 

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

In the event of an accident, critical illness or any other event that leads to a medical emergency, Emergency Personnel can contact us using the phone number (or email if you located in a foreign country area where the phone number does work) located on the decal or MNS Id Card along with the membership code.  This code identifies you in our system so that your stored information can be found.   When contacted, our call center can:

  1. Provide potentially lifesaving medical information quickly over the phone, by email or fax.
  2. Immediately start contacting up to nine (9) contacts, that you have designated in your membership site, quickly to let them know something happened and what hospital you are at.

 

WITHOUT MY NOTIFICATION SERVICE, IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES  LIKE CARING FOR A CHILD RELATIVE OR PET MIGHT NOT BE TAKEN CARE OF FOR HOURS.
